Ang Ku Kueh:
This bright red, small and oval shaped kueh has a soft sticky skin wrapped around peanut/bean paste filling. It has a tortoise-looking exterior as the Chinese traditionally believe that eating tortoises would bring longevity, good fortune and prosperity.
Peng Kueh:
A teochew kueh that looks like a peach on the outside with glutinous rice filling mixed with mushrooms, dried shrimp, peanuts, etc... It is an auspicious dish that believes to be able to bring joy and good luck.
Kueh Lapis Sagu:
These kuehs are soft, sticky and sweet. They are known for their colourful layers (lapis means layer in Malay) and for being eaten layer by layer.
